What is Wapoka?

A single app for the messaging, communities, events, tasks and invitations your group already juggles.

Wapoka is an app for running real-life communities — a sports club, a neighbourhood, a temple or mosque group, a school circle, a hobby group. Instead of spreading everything across a chat app, a spreadsheet, an email thread and a form tool, it keeps the whole thing in one place.

There are five parts, and you can use as few or as many as you like. Most people start with chats, then discover the rest as their group grows.

  • Chats — private one-to-one messages and group conversations, with photos, documents, voice notes and locations.
  • Communities — a home for your group, with smaller sub-groups for conversation and channels for announcements.
  • Events — publish an event, collect registrations through your own form, and check people in at the door.
  • Tasks — hand out jobs with an owner and a due date, and follow progress and costs.
  • e-Invites — send a designed invitation and see exactly who is coming.
